    Dear Sir,

Do you perhaps stock the black sleeves that we keep our stamps in? If so, at what do they sell?

    • Hi Gerhard

We only sell philatelic items, not accessories. We buy ours from Eden Stamps (+27 11 392 1090) in Johannesburg.

My sister who lives in Port Alfred has a collection of UK, Canada, NZ, Australia and SA stamps in albums. she has retired and wishes to find out what her collection is worth, with a view to disposing of them.
    Please can you help.
    Thank you.

    • Hi Alec

The best way is to send us some photos or scans of some of the stamps and we can deduce from that what the collection consists of, mostly. From there we will be able to advise whether we would be interested or we can refer you to someone who would.

      You can email to:

My father is a stamp collector and he wants to sell some of his stamps. he is a member of the Bloemfontein stamp club and is a member of the philatelic federation of SA. He is retired and we are helping him to understand the way of marketing/sales on the net. What would be the next step? Thank you

  10. i am daven and i would like it if you can help me to sell old south african stamp that i have or maybe tell me how i can sell it and im from paarl in the western cape

    • Hi Daven

Unfortunately, we do not facilitate private sales. Bid or Buy and eBay have excellent stamp collector communities and we would suggest you try there!

      Best of luck.

Good Day I have a Otto Transvaal Postage stamp printing die with authenticity certificate 1.6mm in thickness and weighs approx 0.32 oz,18 carat gold and am looking for a buyer certificate number 0500 and is still in mint condition, could you direct me to an interested party please.

    kind regards

    D.G Van niekerk

    • Hi Daniel, These are very attractive and although depicting a Postage Stamp fall more into the field of medallions and the like. So a coin or online auction could be a good avenue for sale. Value should not be less than the gold value which can be simply calculated.

  12. Hi looking for dealers that buys postage stamps in port elizabeth. Thanx
